Real Madrid's war with La Liga could force the Spanish FA to SACK a referee chief to keep the club giants on side. According to Spanish sports newspaper, Diario AS, a new president of the Spanish Referees Committee (CTA) could be sought to quell the rage of Los Blancos.
The 15-time Champions League winners have been left incensed with recent refereeing standards, which hit new heights after Jude Bellingham's red card against Osasuna.The England international was judged to have used foul and abusive language by referee Jose Luis Munuera Montero 39 minutes into their 1-1 draw.
The official accused the 21-year-old of shouting "f*** you" in his direction, but the midfielder refuted the decision, claiming he instead said 'f*** off'.
He also claimed that the language used was aimed at himself in frustration. Earlier in the month, Real Madrid filed a complaint against the Spanish FA over "serious refereeing behaviour".
