Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United take on Derby on Thursday but they will be without four first-team stars. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed on Wednesday that both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James could join Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba on the treatment table.
The regular starters could miss their FA Cup clash as a precaution with small knocks, leaving their manager forced to think about alternatives.
The Norwegian was also on hand to offer updates about his long-term absences as United approach the final few months of the season, with the FA Cup, the Europa League and Champions League qualification on the table. Marcus Rashford Rashford hasn’t featured since he suffered a double stress fracture in his back during the win over Wolves in January.
