Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Jamie Vardy has opened up on the possibility of returning to international duty, but outlined that he is yet to speak to England manager Gareth Southgate.
The Leicester striker retired from playing for England in August 2018, saying he would only return for selection if there was an injury crisis.
However, an injury crisis is exactly what the Three Lions are in the middle of after captain Harry Kane and fellow forward Marcus Rashford sustained injuries earlier this year.
Kane suffered a hamstring injury on New Year's Day, while Rashford is out with a back injury. As such, rumours have emerged that Southgate will call on Vardy's services.
