Tottenham captain Harry Kane has been in contact with Dele Alli after he was attacked and held at knifepoint during a burglary on his home.
Burglars are alleged to have taken £350,000 worth of watches from Alli's property after his home was raided in a frightening incident.
England skipper Kane has revealed he reached out to his Spurs team-mate after news of the incident broke and Alli "seemed OK" and relieved to be safe.
But he admits the incident has prompted him to take extra safety measures and served as a wake-up call amid reports fellow footballers have purchased guard dogs worth up to £15,000 to protect themselves after the incident.
