Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram has revealed he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has just six months to live.In what is extremely devastating news, doctors have informed the Ibrox legend that chemotherapy would only give him another 12 weeks on top of that, so he has refused it.
Goram, who is widely considered to be Rangers’ best-ever goalkeeper following his brilliant seven years at the club, says that he has not given up yet though.
He told the Daily Record: “I’ll fight like I’ve never fought before.”It’s been a torrid couple of months. Goram said he started to feel unwell just seven weeks ago and that he was struggling to eat.He initially left the symptoms and decided to carry on as normal after failing to get a face-to-face appointment with his GP.
But soon the agony become too great and he called the surgery.He said: “I thought I had severe indigestion. It was as though my gullet was blocked.
