Rafael admits he never got on with former Manchester United teammate Carlos Tevez. The ex-United defender, 33, made 170 appearances for the club in all competitions between 2008 and 2015 and is still plying his trade professionally with Botafogo in his Brazilian homeland.
He rubbed shoulders with Tevez in the two seasons the latter spent at Old Trafford before controversially signing for Manchester City in 2009.
Rafael and Tevez infamously clashed during a Manchester derby the following season in 2010 when Tevez was on the blue half and the two players had to be separated by referee Chris Foy when tempers flared.
It will come as no surprise, then, that Rafael did not take too warmly to the Argentinian when they were teammates.
