Edwin van der Sar has pencilled in a chat with Altay Bayindir but joked he prefers Manchester United teammate Andre Onana. Bayindir is yet to feature for United after arriving in a £4.3million deal from Fenerbahce over the summer.
The Turkey international was drafted in as a late back-up to Onana, a much earlier signing for £47.2m. Despite some teething problems, Onana has been ever-present between the posts and even started in both Carabao Cup games against Crystal Palace and Newcastle.
Bayindir did start in Turkey's 3-2 win over Germany on Saturday. And the Dutchman has now responded, writing in the comments section of a social media post plugging the interview: "Hi Altay, will see you soon in Manchester and we will have a chat about goalkeeping but my favourite is still Andre as you will know!"
