How do you begin to explain to someone that Manchester United have scored three goals in each of their three Champions League away group games this season and have amassed just a point?
Wednesday night's pulsating 3-3 draw with Galatasaray at Rams Park in Istanbul all but ended United's hopes of progressing to the last-16 of Europe's premier club competition.

Though each of those two outcomes are possible, as is anything in football, the odds are stacked against United.
