Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has revealed that he would have pursued a career as a police officer had he not become a footballer, admitting that he thrives on taking responsibility.
The Cameroonian, 27, joined United in the summer from Inter Milan and has instantly become one of manager Erik ten Hag's most important players.
He has played every minute of the Reds' campaign so far this term, racking up 22 appearances across three different competitions.
Though he has shown the very best and the very worst of his capabilities so far this term, he has proven that he has the credentials to be a leader of men, highlighted when he gave Harry Maguire a rollocking during United's 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on the club's pre-season tour of the United States in the summer.
