Queen is said to the “desperate” to see her great-grandchild Lilibet Diana and “end the royal rift”, an expert has said.Lilibet, the nine-month-old daughter of Harry and Meghan, has yet to meet her famous great-grandmother since her arrival in America last year.

And now, according to royal author Brian Hoey, the 95-year-old is looking for a way to make a meeting between herself and her 11 th great-grandchild happen as soon as possible.

Speaking to the Express, he said: “I have heard from people I know within the Royal Household she really would desperately like to see the baby in this way.“I think she would love to, I wonder whether it is going to happen, I would love to think it could.“It would be a very easy thing for the rift to be healed between them.“It may not be as bad as we on the outside think it is anyway. “I am absolutely sure the Queen holds no feelings of disapproval towards Harry and Meghan, none whatsoever, she would certainly welcome them back if they came.”It comes after royal commentator and author Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Star in October 2021, when he said that the rift “is not resolved”.
