justjared.comQueen Latifah is getting the audience up on their feet! The 54-year-old entertainer came out on stage during the Quincy Jones tribute at the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
While rocking a gold caped outfit, Queen Latifah gave an incredible performance of “Ease on Down the Road” from the musical The Wiz in honor of Quincy, who produced the song in the 1987 film starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. Keep reading to find out more…Queen Latifah was introduced by Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey, who starred together in 1985 movie The Color Purple, which Quincy wrote the score for and produced. Quincy passed away in November 2024 at the age of 91.
