Putin fuels Parkinson's rumours after appearing 'unsteady and fidgeting' at event

Vladimir Putin has fueled rumours that he is battling Parkinson's or another serious illness after appearing "unsteady and distracted" at Easter service.

Speculation that the Russian President has been physically and mentally unwell has been mounting since his invasion of Ukraine in February.

Experts previously suggested a number of theories ranging from cancer and Parkinson's to steroid-use and psychosis or a personality disorder.

Footage of the 69-year-old has recently emerged of Putin appearing shaky and anxious at Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral, The Mirror reports.
