Purple Intuition, Production Company Behind ‘Bob Trevino Likes It,’ Signs With Independent Artist Group

EXCLUSIVE: Independent Artist Group has signed Purple Intuition, a full-service production company that specializes in producing equitable content with and for marginalized individuals.

The collaboration between IAG and producers, Marie Alyse Rodriguez and Edgar Lacey Rosa, seeks to elevate the creative voice of diverse artists in the film, TV and commercial space.

The agency touts Purple Intuition as “a dynamic production company that continues to build its reputation as a creative force with a diverse slate of compelling projects.” They celebrated the success of the dramedy feature Bob Trevino Likes It, which won both the Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize at the SXSW Film Festival last year.

Set for a limited theatrical release on March 21, 2025, by Roadside Attractions and then Lionsgate Home Entertainment, the film stars Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo.
