deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Brandee Evans has signed with Innovative Artists for representation. Evans is widely recognized for her portrayal of ‘Mercedes Woodbine’ in P-Valley, the hit Starz series created by Katori Hall.
For her contributions to the show’s first two seasons, Evans received two NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series in 2021 and 2023.
The hourlong drama that tells the story of the little-strip-club-that-could and the big characters who come through its doors – the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful and the damned.
A third season was ordered in 2022 but was delayed due to the dual WGA and SAG strikes. Production officially began last May, with cast promotions and additions announced.
