EXCLUSIVE: Actor and singer-songwriter Cheyenne Jackson has signed with Buchwald across the board. A Grammy and Emmy nominee, Jackson most recently starred opposite Mayim Bialik on the Fox comedy Call Me Kat, which ran for three seasons.
Recently, he also returned to the stage in the Pasadena Playhouse’s critically acclaimed production of La Cage aux Folles, directed by Sam Pinkleton.
On television, Jackson has built an extensive resume spanning comedy, drama, and genre projects. Previously, he’s recurred on HBO’s Watchmen, starred in multiple installments of FX’s American Horror Story franchise —including Apocalypse, Roanoke, Cult, and Hotel — and played Hades in Disney’s Descendants 3.
His other TV credits include 30 Rock, Glee, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Sense8, to name just a few. On the film side, Jackson has appeared in Paramount’s American Woman opposite Alicia Silverstone, Steven Soderbergh’s Behind the Candelabra for HBO, and Ira Sachs’ drama Love Is Strange.
