The Queen has praised her grandson's wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, for her moving lockdown photography project in a rare personal statement.
Kate asked Brits to send her photos which summed up their experiences during the coronavirus lockdown, with the aim of putting together a series that captured the nation’s mood and feelings during the pandemic.
There were 31,598 entries, and a panel of judges, including Kate, had the tough job of cutting them down to 100 pictures, with the final collection included powerful images of NHS workers on the front line, emotional snaps of families being reunited as rules started to ease, and hilarious snaps of parents attempting to home school their children while working from home.
