Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in negotiations with the Palace over their attendance at King Charles III’s coronation providing their son Archie’s fourth birthday celebrations are factored into the mix, we can reveal.The Sussexes are currently in the midst of negotiating several elements of their attendance at May's coronation providing their place is secured on the Buckingham Palace balcony, their security is adequately covered, and, most importantly for the couple, their son Archie’s birthday is recognised.
A source told OK! that Harry and Meghan are said to be keen to attend the coronation as it is a key milestone for the family and one they wouldn’t want their children to miss. “Archie’s birthday falls on May 6th, coronation day and the Sussexes want the family to recognise that,” a source said. “The Sussexes have asked for some kind of celebration or acknowledgement to be factored into the day’s plans to ensure that his fourth birthday won’t get lost during the momentous day.” During their visit to the UK, the Sussexes have also asked that they stay at Frogmore with Princess Eugenie and her family instead of making use of an apartment at Buckingham Palace.
Meghan and Eugenie, who is currently pregnant with her second child, are thought to have a close bond.
