Prestwich man charged with 48 counts relating to online grooming of teens

A Prestwich man has been charged with 48 counts relating to the online grooming of underage girls. Daniel Berry, 31, of Bannerman Avenue, appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 7.

He was charged on March 6 for offences against 17 girls between February 2017 and January 2019. They include:  - 17 counts of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity with no penetration.  - 10 counts of causing a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.  - Seven counts of causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity with penetration.  - Five counts of distributing an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child. - Four counts of making an indecent
