Premier League stars may have to get changed in Portakabins as part of new safety protocols. And clubs could also be ordered to take private planes to away games rather than take a train or use their team coach.

The new safety measures are being discussed this week and will be presented at Thursday’s Premier League meeting. But there are concerns about whether some grounds will meet with social distancing guidelines.

Premier League clubs will be told they will have to bring their stadiums in to line with new Government advice so the authorities can deem them fit to be used.

Additionally, a thorough risk assessment report will be done on every game. It could affect older stadiums like Goodison Park, Vicarage Road and Turf Moor and the clubs
