The disused limestone quarry, in Harpur Hill near Buxton, has been described as 'probably the most dangerous water in the UK'.
While its lush blue waters look like a tropical paradise, swimming in it could cause chemical burns and infection. This is because its high alkaline pH levels makes it similar to swimming in 'a bath of bleach'.
According to YorkshireLive, Derbyshire Police have now issued a fresh warning urging people not to visit the area. In May last year, the force issued a warning after an estimated 2,000 people travelled there during hot weather.
