Police are treating a fire at a Glasgow pub in the early hours of yesterday morning as deliberate. The blaze took hold at The Dalmarnock Inn on Old Dalmarnock Road in Glasgow at around 6.15am on Monday, January 3.Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) rushed to the scene where they remained some six hours later.
It is currently unknown how the fire started or whether there have been any injuries.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.15am on Monday, 3 January, officers were called to a report of a fire at a building on Old Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow."Enquiries are ongoing and the fire is being treated as wilful."Anyone with information should contact officers through 101 quoting reference 0491 of 3 January.”
