Police officers in England can tell people to leave someone’s home if they are breaching new lockdown rules but cannot make them go, according to the guidance issued to forces.
From today, groups of up to six people from different households are allowed to meet outdoors in public places - such as parks or gardens - as lockdown rules in England are eased.
