The arrests were made on Saturday after a number of shocking brawls broke out before the Premier League clash. Footage showed supporters punching and attacking each other in horrendous scenes ahead of the match, which kicked off at 12.30pm.
Manchester United ended up winning the tie 5-1. Initially, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said six people had been arrested.
