Three people who were arrested after shots were blasted four times in a 'targeted' shooting in Leigh have been released on bail, police have confirmed.
The shooting happened on St Helens Road at around 1am last Sunday (September 24). Police said a 'stolen vehicle' was used in an 'attempted assault' between two men before one of them blasted the gun.
It was fired at least four times, officers said. A probe was launched with investigations carried out on the street the following day by forensic and Tactical Aid Unit officers. In an update issued today (September 28), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said they had all been bailed pending further enquiries.
