Police are investigating a potential assault after a young boy was grabbed "across the neck" outside a primary school. Officers were called to reports of a disturbance outside Charlestown Community Primary School on Pilkington Road yesterday afternoon, November 17.

The school posted on social media yesterday evening to warn parents of a potential child abduction attempt outside the premises, and were asking parents to be careful.
