Police discovered a packed pub with a "party atmosphere" in Birmingham which led to its owner being handed a £10,000 fine. Footage shows officers arriving at The Spotted Dog in Digbeth and knocking on the door a few times before someone lets them in.
They arrived at 11pm on October 30 and found more than 40 people drinking with music in the background and with no social distancing in place, Birmingham Live reports.
In the clip, police officers can be seen entering the pub and telling people to go home as they were breaking legislation put in place to curb the spread of Covid-19.
They also spoke to the pub bosses who admitted they were breaking the law and apologised. West Midlands Police dished out the maximum fine of £10,000 to the venue's
