A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being 'stabbed in the back' on a night out near Manchester city centre on Saturday evening (September 2).
Police were called out to the incident at Love Factory, on Dantzic Street, in the Green Quarter, at around 7.40pm. An event was being hosted at the warehouse at the time.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the victim, aged 19, was stabbed in the back and was subsequently rushed to hospital from the scene, where he remains with serious injuries. Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation into the stabbing which is understood to have happened after a fight broke out at the venue shortly before.
A witness who lives nearby said there were at least five police cars and vans that arrived at the scene along with an ambulance.
