Thousands swarmed London's streets and parks last night as illegal raves took place for the fourth day in a row. Litter was strewn across the capital as four parties were closed down.

Police had to break up gatherings in Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common as two dispersal zones were slapped on the areas.

They were later called to Tottenham, north London, to put an end to a third. Officers also responded to an unlicensed party in Hackney despite warnings after violent scenes the previous three nights.

Video footage captured people dancing to loud music in Tooting while hundreds flouted social distancing across south west London in Clapham hours before.
