However plumbing guru Mark Ferris, founder of Ferris Plumbing, says there's a simple way to tackle the problem.The pro says that this issue is one he comes across frequently in homes, but a quick fix might be enough to solve it, the Mirror reports.The expert has explained that the problem of dodgy water pressure is usually caused by water mineral buildup inside the shower head, which can be simple enough to sort out.

Speaking to the Express, Mark has shared his top tips on handling pesky plumbing problems in your home. He said: "An easy fix many people can do at home is simply remove the showerhead and soak it in a vinegar solution overnight to break down the scale."By the morning, the showerhead will look 'like new' and this will often be enough to resolve any water pressure issues.

However, while the expert says this is "definitely worth a try," it's unfortunately not a solution that will work for everyone.There can be other issues if your water pressure is low, including a kinked hose or older piping.
