Rather than look to the scales for validation, we should be focusing on how eating better and moving more makes us feel in other ways.Explaining why weight loss is not an ideal motivator, Michael said: "Frequently people go to the gym on the first of January in order to lose weight, so they go down, they go to the gym, they do loads of exercise."At the end of the month they've lost nothing so they give up and that's because they're measuring the wrong thing.
