Good Morning Britain five times before actually leaving having previously claimed he was a bit of a 'prima donna'.GMB viewers were left in shock this week as Piers decided to quit amid the fall out of  hi criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.The first time the 55-year-old threatened to quit his job was live on air back in 2017.After it was revealed that Love Island winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were to be given a showbiz slot on GMB, Piers was having none of it.He had previously slammed contestants of the show for making money by "having sex on TV".Reacting to the news that the pair would be given their own slot on Twitter he joked: "I quit."In 2018, Piers threatened to twice cut ties.
