Piers Morgan has empathised with the nightclub industry as they finally reopened doors today, despite his views on the idea of Freedom Day being ‘nonsense’. Nightclubs across England welcomed the masses last night for the first time in 16 months to celebrate lockdown restrictions easing.
Clubbers found a surprising ally in Piers, 56, who recalled his partying days of yesteryear and could understand the plight of venues that had been forced to keep their doors closed since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Piers’ son Spencer Morgan had first tweeted on Monday: ‘Today you will see a lot of older people whining about the young finally getting to enjoy the best part about being young A lot of these people will also call their younger.
