A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

PIERS Morgan has insisted he's the kindred spirit of "cool guy" Matthew McConaughey. The 55-year-old tried to impress the Hollywood actor by doing an impression of his famous "alright alright alright" catchphrase after interviewing him on Good Morning Britain.

The Wolf Of Wall Street actor appeared on the ITV breakfast show to promote his new memoir Greenlights. But he also defended his recent comments after being accused of white privilege earlier this month when he criticised those outraged over Donald Trump challenging Joe Biden’s election win.

Piers praised Matthew for being outspoken on his views about free speech after the 51-year-old said: "‘Some liberals don’t see they’re being cannibalised by the illiberals.
