Piers Morgan has spoken out in support of the footballers who were booed for taking the knee at the beginning of Wednesday’s England vs Austria match.
The international friendly saw players from both teams kneel in a show of solidarity for the anti-racism movement - causing some fans at Riverside Stadium to start jeering them.
But Piers was quick to point out that, considering a large number of the England team are black, supporters should actually be supportive with their presence.
