The Good Morning Britain star is no fan of the glossy mag's cover showing a plus-sized woman in a yoga pose with the headline "This is healthy".
Giving his opinion, Piers wrote: "No, it’s not. And given that obesity is a major factor in why many get severe covid illness, this @CosmopolitanUK cover is shamefully irresponsible." It angered former reality star Malin who retweeted him and added: "You are disgusting." The insult caught Piers's attention and he hit back: "Actually, what’s ‘disgusting’ is a big-selling magazine glamourising obesity at the height of a pandemic involving a virus.
