Over the weekend, The Sunday Sport featured the Good Morning Britain host as their front page splash with the headline: "Piers Morgan ate my hedgehog alive alive as kids cried." Piers, 55, saw the funny side as he re-shared the cover with his own Instagram followers. "Oh no this could seriously damage my Prime Minister campaign," he mocked in the caption followed with two angry emojis.
Last week, Piers was met with calls for him to run for Prime Minister after being praised by viewers of GMB for his grilling of numerous government ministers in recent weeks.
