Piers Morgan is known for heated clashes with guests - but the Good Morning Britain presenter was today faced with an attack that got very personal.
The 55-year-old had a war of words with Rudy Giuliani over a tweet sent out by Donald Trump amid the protests over George Floyd’s death.
The US president published, "When the looting starts, the shooting starts" - a phrase first coined in response to an outbreak of violent crime in Florida in 1967, with racial undertones.
Rudy jumped to Trump’s defence of the rehash of the comment, claiming that the media was portraying it as racist, and that the president’s use was only to warn that looting would lead to violence.
