Phillip Schofield ‘vaping a lot’ and ‘covered in calluses’ since admitting secret affair

Former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield sat down for an interview where he said he had been “vaping a lot” and drinking Southern Comfort whiskey since admitting to his affair with a younger male colleague at ITV.

On Friday last week, Phillip admitted to having a romance with a “much younger” male runner on This Morning while he was still married to his ex-wife, Stephanie.

He admitted that the "on-off consensual relationship" happened but said it was "not wise but not illegal". As he made the confession, Phil also announced he would be stepping back from presenting commitments with Dancing On Ice and the British Soap Awards, and he was also dropped by his management company.

One week on, the 61-year-old presenter sat down with The Sun to discuss the events of the past seven days. He said that since the scandal broke, he has “blistered” both of his hands by sitting at home “staring into space” while smoking an electronic cigarette.
