Phillip Schofield allegedly asked a Youtuber not to post a video of him with a younger man.The claims have come to light after Schofield left ITV and his management after admitting to having an affair with a younger colleague. In the clip, Youtuber Jack Jones appears to be in a restaurant celebrating reaching a million followers while Phillip can be seen in the background sitting at a table with a younger man.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Jack said: "After I did the video, he begged me not to put the video up because he said, 'It could ruin my career' and I said, 'How could it ruin your carer?' And he said he didn't want to get into it."A spokesperson for Phillip declined to comment when contacted by the Mirror.
Phillip parted ways with ITV after admitting to having a previous relationship with a colleague which began when they were over the age of 18.In a statement, he said: "The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.
I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning."I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family.
