Phillip Schofield's Dancing On Ice replacement 'worked out' by fans
ok.co.ukFans of Dancing On Ice believe they've worked out who could replace Phillip Schofield as presenter of the iconic ITV show – and it's not who you might expect.
Phillip gave up all his ITV work, including his roles presenting Dancing On Ice and This Morning after he admitted to an affair with a much younger male colleague.
He previously hosted both shows with Holly Willoughby and was originally due to return for a new series next year. Dancing On Ice has been an ITV staple since 2006, although the series went on a break between 2014 and 2018.
Phillip made the announcement that he was quitting the channel on 26 May, saying: "I have therefore decided to step down from the British Soap Awards, my last public commitment, and am resigning from ITV with immediate effect expressing my immense gratitude to them for all the amazing opportunities that they have given me." Although a number of names have been talked about as Phillip's replacement, TV viewers think they have the answer, in the form of popular singer and TV presenter Jane McDonald.
