Holly Willoughby is reportedly due to return to her regular post on Dancing On Ice.The 42 year old star co-presented the ITV skating competition with Phillip Schofield for 17 years before he was axed from the show last month.
It was previously reported that Holly, 42, may be replaced in order to give the show a new revamp, however, an inside source denied that this was true.
According to the Daily Mail, the mum of three will resume her role as the host of Dancing On Ice in autumn, before the next series of the show gets set to air early next year. "Holly wants to stay on at Dancing On Ice, she's made that clear to all concerned and everyone at the network is absolutely delighted," the source explained. "They haven't discussed contracts yet, as that will take place after the summer as always, but she's indicated it will be business as usual," they continued. "There have been all kinds of rumours that she is to leave but she loves the programme and has a long history with it," the insider added. They went on to reveal that Holly would also "have a say" in who her new co-host would be.
OK! has contacted ITV for comment. Phillip revealed last month that he had stepped down from all his ITV shows and hosting the British Soap Awards after admitting to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a “younger male colleague” on This Morning.
