TV star Jane McDonald recently flaunted a stunning figure while presenting the British Soap Awards.The cruise singer stepped in for Philip Schofield to host the event last month in a stunning velvet red gown, after previously shedding an impressive four stone.
Her performance wowed ITV bosses and the she has been tipped as the "favourite" to take Schofield's place beside Holly Willoughby to present Dancing On Ice.Jane previously spoke on how her weight slowly crept up on her over the years due to a hectic work schedule, but has since reshaped her eating habits to drop from a size 12 to 14 to an eight.
She also revealed her go-to foods that help keep her on track.The 60 year-old said she has been able to keep the weight off by axing snacking on crisps and limiting her intake of "white carbs" such as bread, pasta and processed flower.Jane likes to start her day with a green smoothie every other morning.
She said: "I blend up a mixture of raw greens, flax seeds, chia seeds, spinach, kale, mint and a banana. It really is lovely."Since 2017, Jane has presented her Channel 5 TV travel show Cruising with Jane McDonald, but while she's sailing and having the time of her life doing what she loves best, she admitted she puts weight on easily when she goes on cruise ships.She said in 2019: "That is the first cruise I’ve put about eight pounds on.
