Pete Wicks made a noble sacrifice that led to a distressing death during his time on Celebrity Island. With the seven remaining celebrities desperate for food, they thought their prayers had been answered when a black pig stumbled into their camp.

But newly converted pescatarian Pete argued that they should not kill the majestic creature, claiming they could survive off fish alone.

The TOWIE star guided the porker away from the camp but he kept returning, so he named the hog Colin in a bid to humanise him and make others consider the piggy as a pet.

While Colin was protected from being slaughtered by Pete, he began to annoy the rest of the campmates by intruding on their camp.
