Scots scaffolder jailed for driving gunman to shoot up Glasgow house in stolen car
gunman who fired on a home in a housing estate was yesterday jailed for 44 months.Steven McGarry, 33, ferried his accomplice to the property in Stepps, near Glasgow, before the shooting and drove off with him afterwards.At the High Court in Edinburgh, judge Lord Weir told him it was “good fortune” that no one was around and the house that was targeted was not occupied at the time.The court earlier heard McGarry drove the gunman, who has since died, to the home of brothers Scott and Roddy McKenzie on December 30, 2019.A witness heard two loud bangs and saw a white car believed to be the Audi A3 driving off at speed.The car had been stolen earlier from a property in nearby Muirhead.The court heard that Scott, 28, had left the house before the
