Hot New Hip Hop reported today that the rapper, 2 Chainz, just announced his upcoming record, So Help Me God, which coincidentally was the name for Kanye’s record, The Life of Pablo, before West changed it at the last minute. According to the outlet, 2 Chainz, who just finished a Verzuz battle with Rick Ross, is getting ready to end 2020 right.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz had a rap battle on Verzuz last night and it wasn’t exactly high-energy. The outlet says 2 Chainz recently came out to address the lack of passion between the two performing artists.

Rick Ross shared his unreleased verse from Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ during his VERZUZ battle last night (August 6) with 2 Chainz.The song, which appeared on West’s 2016 album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ and caused a lot of controversy due to its Taylor Swift reference, was originally released with verses from West, a hook by Rihanna, and background vocals from Swizz Beatz.Now, it’s been revealed that Miami rapper Ross had a verse on the song before it was taken off.

Rick Ross and 2 Chainz are set to do battle in the next Verzuz battle.The online clash series  was launched in March by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz. It sees competitors taking it in turns to play a song from a list of 20 tracks from across their discography as fans, friends and fellow artists watch on.  A winner is later decided by Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.It’s now been confirmed that Rick Ross and 2 Chainz’ showdown is set to take place on Thursday, August 6 at 8PM EST over on the Verzuz Instagram account.
