BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker shares which TV show he would love to be a part of
Dan Walker has confessed what TV show he would love to take part in that he hasn't yet been a part of.The BBC Breakfast host was entertaining his fans on Instagram by holding a Q&A session via his stories on the app as he made his way home from hosting an awards ceremony in Birmingham.Dan shared a series of images on the night looking dupper in a classy black tuxedo as he geared up for the event.Later as he travelled in the back of a car he was asked by one fan intrigued fan what show would be next on his agenda when it comes to his TV career if he had a choice.They enquired: "If you could host any television show that you haven't already what would it be?"Dan then replied: "Total Wipeout."Total Wipeout originally ran from 2009 - 2012 and was hosted by Richard Hammond and Amanda Byram.The gameshow saw twenty contestants jet to Argentina where they took on an assault course aimed at putting their physical strength, balance and bravery to the test in the hope of winning £10,000.Dan has recently been enjoying some quality time with his wife and children after they jetted away to Rome on a family getaway.The half-term trip saw the 44-year-old joined by Sarah, their two daughters and their son as they took in the sights of the Italian capital.While travelling to Rome he met two young fans of his time on Strictly Come Dancing who passed him a touching note on their flight.Dan then shared the letter to his Instagram page as he thanked them for their sweet message.The note read: "Dear Dan, my mummy said not to disturb you as you're on holiday with your family. I recognised you and just wanted to say hello."We are huge fans and thought you were great on Strictly.

Clarkson’s Farm star calling him a “fat oaf” has resurfaced just as Jeremy sent out a tweet saying he “liked” the star.Bat Out Of Hell singer Meat Loaf has died, his family has announced today.Plenty of stars have already paid tribute to the talented musician, including Cher, Stephen Fry and Piers Morgan.One celebrity to pay his respects was former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.Jeremy, 61, sent out a tweet in view of his 7.6 million followers which simply read: “I liked Meat Loaf.”However, some of Jeremy’s followers didn’t seem too impressed by the Tweet.Twitter user Alexander Pan attached a YouTube video, which was entitled “Top Gear Really Hates Meat Loaf” and replied: “We know”.The comment received 35 likes, with others chiming in to say that they had remembered that moment on television.In the clip Jeremy is presenting on Top Gear and begins by saying: “Now as you know we are on a quest to find the greatest driving song, and for the last few weeks people have been emailing us with their nominations.His co-presenter Richard Hammond went on to explain the voting rules for how their audience’s “best driving song” would be determined.Gesturing to their current song chart, Jeremy continued: “It is very, very important that you do get voting because this is the chart so far: ACDC, Motorhead, Golden Earring, Queen, Steppenwolf…”At this point Richard cheekily interjected that their viewers were setting a trend of “black T-shirts and long hair”.Getting more worked up, Jeremy said: “It’s unbelievable! Richard Hammond leaves fans horrified by getting back in the car that almost killed him
The Grand Tour presenter has suffered numerous crashes over the years, but the Vampire Dragster accident is considered the worst.On the 20th of September 2006, Richard was seriously injured while filming an episode of Top Gear at the former RAF Elvington airfield near York.He was driving the Vampire, a jet-powered car, which was said to be capable of travelling up to 370mph, but his front-right tyre failed unexpectedly and caused it to lose control before rolling over to its demise.At the point of blow out, Richard was travelling at 288mph but upon initial impact had slowed to 232mph, mainly as a result of the roll cage digging into the ground and the top his helmet being dragged across the surface.It has been speculated that if he was any taller, he would have been decapitated.As rescuers turned the car upright and cut an unconscious Richard free, he was put in a neck brace and placed on a stretcher before the air ambulance arrived.A post shared by Richard Hammond (@richardhammond)Doctors treating him announced that he had a "significant brain injury" following the crash.After he almost died in the wreckage, Richard vowed to never get back in a dragster... until now.The motoring fanatic couldn't help himself as he geared up to drive the rebuilt Vampire for an episode of DriveTribe.In the episode, Richard could be seen visibly shaken as he approached the vehicle for the first time since the horror accident, 15 years ago."Oh, this is...
