Platino Awards are here, celebrating the best of film and television in Iberoamerica. This year, the gala celebrates its eleventh edition at the Gran Tlachco Theater at the Xcaret Park, located at the Riviera Maya, in Mexico.

The Platino Awards Xcaret made a grand return to Mexico, and Galilea Montijo attended the event with her boyfriend, model Isaac Moreno, for the first time. During the HOLA! Pre-Show on the Red Carpet, the presenter and her beau spoke exclusively with HOLA! TV’s Christian Carabias.The couple shared details of their experience in the Riviera Maya, where they mingled with A-listers from the cinema industry, including Manolo Caro, whom they spent time with during one of the celebrations surrounding the eleventh edition of these awards.During the interview, they shared their experience in this installment.

Platino Awards were hosted over the weekend, at the Gran Tlachco Theater in Mexoc. The occasion was worth celebrating, with hundreds of celebrities in attendance, celebrating some of the best Ibero-American film and television made over the past year. Michael Bublé was among them, attending the gala alongside his wife, the Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, who’d be handing out two of the awards.

Platino Awards 2024 have made history. Aside from returning to the Riviera Maya, one of most stunning locations in Mexico, the eleventh edition of the show became the first to be hosted by two women: Esmeralda Pimentel and Majida Isaa.

Platino Awards have marked for a gorgeous celebration in Mexico. The evening featured all manner of memorable moments, from plenty of stunning looks at the red carpet to the ceremony, which celebrated the best of Ibero-American television and film.

Dani Rojas in the “Ted Lasso” series, Cristo Fernández had a career as a soccer player. Interestingly, he portrays a prominent player for AFC Richmond in the Apple TV series.

LALIGA and Platino Awards XCARET, in Riviera Maya, are teaming up again to host the IV Stars Encounter on April 18 at Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Course in Playa del Carmen. This time, proceeds will support the Integral Family Development System of Quintana Roo, in line with the charitable mission that drives each event.This edition of the “Stars Encounter” will feature numerous football legends including Miguel Angel Moya, Diego Forlán, Mario Suárez, Joaquín Sánchez, Fernando Morientes, Diego Godín, Javier Mascherano, Gaizka Mendieta, and Miguel Layún. Cecilia Roth will be honored with the Platinum Honor Award at the 11th Edition of the PLATINO XCARET Awards, which will be presented on April 20, 2024, at the Xcaret Park in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in recognition of her outstanding career in the film industry. The career of an Argentinean actress started at the age of 16 while she was attending school.

Platino Awards is right around the corner. The yearly ceremony, which recognizes the best in film and TV in Ibero-America, will be hosted in Xcaret, Mexico on April 20th.

Emilio Mayorga Cesar Cabral’s “Bob Spit: We Do Not Like People,” Roy Ambriz and Arturo Ambriz’s  “Frankelda’s Book of Spooks,” and “Beast” topped the 5th Ibero-American Animation Quirino Awards, which took place May 14 at San Cristóbal de La Laguna, on the Canary Island of Tenerife.It’s no coincidence that the three main prizes have gone to stop-motion works. The Premios Platino, Iberoamerica’s most prominent annual film and TV awards event, has canceled its 7th edition, citing concerns about the Coronavirus pandemic. Set to take place for a third time at the Xcaret resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, this edition was going to include an inaugural industry event to run May 1-3, culminating in the awards night on May 3.
