Platino Awards 2024 have made history. Aside from returning to the Riviera Maya, one of most stunning locations in Mexico, the eleventh edition of the show became the first to be hosted by two women: Esmeralda Pimentel and Majida Isaa.

LALIGA and Platino Awards XCARET, in Riviera Maya, are teaming up again to host the IV Stars Encounter on April 18 at Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Course in Playa del Carmen. This time, proceeds will support the Integral Family Development System of Quintana Roo, in line with the charitable mission that drives each event.This edition of the “Stars Encounter” will feature numerous football legends including Miguel Angel Moya, Diego Forlán, Mario Suárez, Joaquín Sánchez, Fernando Morientes, Diego Godín, Javier Mascherano, Gaizka Mendieta, and Miguel Layún. Cecilia Roth will be honored with the Platinum Honor Award at the 11th Edition of the PLATINO XCARET Awards, which will be presented on April 20, 2024, at the Xcaret Park in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in recognition of her outstanding career in the film industry.
