Russia recovers body of dead general a month after they were killed and allegedly mocked
invasion of Ukraine almost a month after his death, with Ukrainian soldiers in the Azov battalion allegedly mocking the body, Russia claims. The corpse of the general who is believed to be Major General Oleg Mityaev, 47, a commander of the Russian army's 150h motorised rifle division, was recovered by Russian forces.The body had been laying there for weeks after Mityaev was killed in an ambush in Mariupol almost a month ago on March 15, with Russians alleging that Ukrainian troops had been mocking the body.Russia usually refuses to confirm the death of generals in battle but Ukraine's defence ministry has claimed seven Russian generals have been killed in action.
