Postman obsessed with Leeds United has secret museum for club inside his house
Leeds United megafan has built a museum in his house dedicated to the football club which sees his home packed to the rafters with memorabilia.Ben Hunt has been a postman for over 20 years and says he has been a Leeds fan his whole life thanks to his uncle who "showed me the way".The 44-year-old lives in Derby Dale with wife Leigh, who he met after a Leeds match, and their two children Bernie, 11, and Grayson, 10.The collection of memorabilia dedicated to Leeds includes hundreds of match-warn shirts, including pieces from some of the all-time greats up to present day players, including Billy Bremner, Mark Viduka and Jermaine Beckford.Seasoned fans will be delighted in seeing shirts and artefacts from the legendary Don Revie era in the 1960s and 1970s, with match shirts from FA Cup Finals in 1965, '70, '72 and '73 as well as the '68 League Cup Final shirt.Ben owns other artefacts from the historic club's past including actual seats from Elland Road's West Stand, an original Lucas "the Kop" Cat mascot costume and a David Batty life size cut-out as Ben's wife "loves him".Ben, who has been a season ticket holder for The Whites for more than 25 years, said: "My first shirt was an Eddie Gray from the late 1970s. Bought that, blowing my first ever wage packed basically."He continued: "Now, I've got over 400 match worn items and museum pieces and have regular visitors to the museum."The Museum paved way for meeting Marcelo (former manager Marcelo Bielsa).
